Effective oral communication is an essential life and career skill. Discussing information with an individual or a group of people, either face to face or over the telephone, and getting your message across clearly builds self-confidence and adds value to an individual's personal effectiveness. 

Good communication, however, is not just about speaking well. It is also about correctly interpreting and understanding the nuances of non-verbal body language. As they say, “Action speaks louder than words”, and so it is important that one has a good grasp of appropriate and inappropriate workplace body language.
